Posted By: JL NoLimitsThis game has taken control over all my free time! Just have it 1 and a half day. Already played 15h in it :D

Having discovered all unknown locations and currently playing the second expansion I'm currently at 150+ hours and nowhere near finish, but since I don't want it to end that's fine by me. :D
Best RPG I have ever played in my opinion (i. e. best story and the most beautiful, gripping, humorous, immersive RPG). Also: Gwent ftw!

I don't know if anyone here has heard of an old movie called The Warriors, or played the PS2 game of the same name, but i found this just recently.
Some guys re-created the intro from the movie in GTA online. And did an awesome job of it.

^ My brother has KSP on here. I played it briefly one night, it's quite technical.

Found this on Youtube last night while looking for something else. I thought it was quite well done.

Finished Resident Evil 7 and gotta say, I don't regret buying it!
It's very much horror as it is suppose to be and has many intense moments. Won't spoil anything.

If you plan to play it and you should definitely do it if you like horror, don't waste any bullets!
It took me 11h to finish

Edit: my next project is going to be themed like horror

Said it in the other thread and I'll say it here, I really liked the game myself, easily one of my favorites. Without spoiling, the specific boss that you need to acquire a lantern from was one of the most scariest moments ever, even during the fight I was shitting myself because of all the random attacks/events.
^Yep, worst boss ever. It's so f##### scary!!!

For those who may not have heard, there's an announcement trailer for Project Cars 2 that came out a few days ago. It's on their website and youtube.
There's some other info on their site detailing some new things about the game that are getting me hyped for it. And the inclusion of the Fuji circuit and Daytona are also welcome.

I have a feeling P-Cars 2 will be THE racing game to have this year.

Anyone remember the RCT1 Urban-Park mission?

I tried the openRCT2 recreation, and it turns out, you dont need to buy any land

    Top-Spin-Money-Maker 4tw!
Ok. Aliens Isolation is now making me scared.
Outlast was easy. It had its little scary moment's. But outlast was for kids compared to A.L.
And I have to finish the game... But its so scary.... But it is so good.

Sorry, there still is much adrenaline in me

    Edit: Nooooooo...
I slowly crouched to the door I need to open. Nearly there. And there it comes. The Xenomorph. It scared the shit out of me when it came out of the sealing. I fast hid somewhere and quietly waited for it to disappear again. But it didn't. It was with me. And I need to move to progress so I thought it was just learning its walking path. Yeah. After a very short time I knew it didn't have a path. The Xenomorph has its will and very complicated AI. I slowly got to the door while staring at its back and finally opened it with the code 1702. I got in and locked the door. I walked forward and I heard the Xenomorph go up in a vent opening and came out on my side of the door. I quickly hid. I heard it came in my room. It was searching for me. It knew I was there because it heard me probably hide. It was standing right next to me but I couldn't see it. It was just out of my sight. Then it became quiet. I waited and waited. I thought it went away. I took up my motion detector and it didn't show any signs of movement. I still was scared to death. So I didn't move. After 20 seconds of me being scared the Xenomorph grabbed me out under from a desk and killed me.
The Xenomorph sat out a trap for me. And it got me. It actually was smart. It waited and listened if I took up the motion tracker to hear where I was. Then it knew I was there and decided to wait till I came out. But it became impatient and killed me before I came out.
Now it knows my hiding spots and when it thinks I'm there it starts to search under the desks.

    I LOVE/HATE this game!

    Xenomorph is the alien.
You may be surpised by this, but my dad worked on GTA5 (works for Rockstar)! Not that i'm fussed though, as i'm not into the sort of games he works on.
    what was his specific role?
    ^ Designer.
    Designer of what?
He made parts of the game (including the "Fame or Shame" thing that plays on a TV in the game)

Who remembers the Impossible Quiz that was on sites like Newgrounds a number of years ago?
Well, here they are. The original and the sequel. If you haven't tried them, give them a go. All i can say is good luck, lol.
I've never completed either of them.

    Oh.. My.. GOD.

If anyone here haven't played Outlast 2 yet (and really enjoyed the first game and other horror games like Soma and Amnesia) IT IS MOST DEFINITELY A MUST PLAY. I started playing it last night and haven't seen anything like it, the amount of suspense and tension this game holds is enough to make me stop playing several times over. Really awesome.

CS:GO finally has a new operation, and they added a theme park map to the game. It looks really cool, and some of the rides are really accurately done

Dude what, I thought this was NL2!

Would it be the first time roller coasters aren't completely wacky in a non-theme park related video-game?
I have a strong feeling they ripped out the layouts from NL somehow. I'm gonna investigate that.

EDIT: Ha, it's a community map, that would explain it. Still well done, though. Here's a walk-through.
And apparently you can make the coaster run!
Awesome! I wonder how they simulate the coaster in Source.

Just yesterday, I bought Portal (the first one). While it is a very short game and I managed to play through 3 times today with challenges in between, it is still a great game, even after 10 years.

Started playing Portal: Prelude. It is a fantastic mod for Portal with new gameplay mechanics. Oh, and it plays before Portal.
Fancied picking up payday 2? Well today they are giving away 5mil copies for free (Reason being they are about to launch a paid version that has all the DLC included)

New video on the Project Cars site, showing a whole lot of new cars for P-Cars 2.
September 22 can't come soon enough.

So I visited Staples today, and they had an HTC Vive demo booth set up to run several ten minute demos, including several titles from The Lab. I rushed to try it out, having wanted to experience VR for ages.

I picked up the archery game for a bit and was terrible at it, but all I can say VR is completely anything I've ever experienced. Completely immersive in the truest sense of the word. The depth is real. The height is real. Everything feels so smooth and natural in the most unnatural of ways. Ten minutes just wasn't enough.

Unfortunately, the Staples employees were no longer allowed to run the VR roller coaster simulation, as too many patrons had freaked out/lost their balance and hurt themselves. It is my newfound dream to ride one of my own NL2 creations in VR. Can't wait until the tech becomes more affordable. Might be waiting a while.

^I don't know what I'd do with VR. I like the "sitting infront of a monitor & being aware of your environment" more than that.
    • CommentTimeJun 13th 2017

^Fair enough. I agree that it's more of a novelty than anything. I feel that as much as it can add to some experiences, it can take away just as much from others.

I found this video about a week ago, but only got round to watching it just recently. It's a short documentary about how Mortal Kombat 3 was made. I played that game a hell of a lot in my late primary school/early high school days, so i quite enjoyed this.

Does anyone here have Dirt 4? Just wondering what your thoughts on it are. And if you have Dirt Rally, how you think the two compare.

The Witcher 3 has two dlcs that are bigger and better then most finished games. And it's still my favourite game to date.

I miss this forum but all this problems it has have made me visit less and less. I hope the new site will pull me back again :D

Does anyone here play a game called Gems of War?

Also, Project Cars 2 on Friday. To say i'm excited for it is an understatement, lol.
^ I would be excited too if it weren't 45 bloody pounds ._.

That seems kind of excessive for a racing game.

    • CommentTimeSep 20th 2017
^ Is that for the regular game, or one of the special editions?
    • CommentTimeSep 20th 2017
^^Well when you think about it, NL2 is also a huge price dip for just making coasters... 40 to 90 dollars depending on what you want. For those who are enthusiastic about cars and racing that price could be totally justifiable, of course depending on the quality of the game.
^^ Regular. Mrcrolly has a point, but I just don't think Project CARS is simulator-ey enough or full of enough content to warrant a price quite that high.

^ You see, when you say 45 pounds, it sounds much cheaper, lol. But with exchange rates and all, that's prob a similar price to over here. And i'm gonna guess around $90 or so.
I enjoyed the first game a lot. Yes it had some bugs and one car was almost impossible to drive. (Renault Clio TC. I tried everything, only way it worked was on wet weather tyres.. in the dry) So i was always going to buy the 2nd game. Plus there will be DLC to expand on what's already there.

Puts GT Sport to shame, that's for sure, hahaha.

Most games over here are in the range of £20 to £35. £45 is, by no means, cheap for a game.
