    With the method isEmergencyStop() added, will there be a method setEmergencyStop(Bool isEmergency)?

    Same for Section.getStationGateState() and Train.getHarnessState() to include a setter method to open/close the gates/harnesses?

    Might just be my imagination, but I seem to be getting a decent framerate boost on the beta patch.

    i believe they added increased support for hyper-threading or something along those lines, might be that.

    After attempting to install the latest 2.5.1.0 update, I've been getting this error message when trying to open NoLimits 2:

    "The Program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

    I've tried reinstalling the program and even getting a new download from the NoLimits team and installing it that way but still no luck. f anyone could please tell me how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it!

    I have the pro version. Can I get a spline from this skechup roller coaster model?

    @Tobi, I figured out how to solve the issue. You have to update Windows and then restart your computer.

    New Update!

    I´m not really active in the forums but currently enjoying to work/play with NL again after a longer pause. When did NL1 came out? 2001...? I discovered it by accident over 15 years ago(15 f***** years...wow ;) and since then have an on-/off-relationship with it if you want ;D. But i can safely say that it´s pretty high up on the list of my most used programs.
    It brought me a lot of fun, it certainly helped me to learn English (way more than my school education did) and i met Werner Stengel and a few other nice people.

    So...with this update i would like to take the opportunity to say THANK YOU!

    Thank you Ole, Tom, Kevin and all the other people who were and will be part in the development.

    Imo it´s quite amazing that there is software of this quality for this niche market that we call our hobby/interest. From my own experience i can imagine that it was not always easy to keep the motivation up for the development of NL2. And with this in mind the constant updates and improvements are even more impressive!

    Always wanted to say this. Keep up the great work (or take a brake, well... do whatever the hell is good for you!) everybody...

    Thanks Togo for the heads up, but the real star in this park isn't the wave singer, it's the very cool interactive dark-ride, fully functionning! (and don't miss the preshow too)

    I have the GTX 950 GPU and NL2 is bottlenecking the graphics so the LOD distance is extra low. I know others have been having this bug and it's really annoying.

    We don't "bottleneck the graphics" nor do we set the LOD distance, that is user controlled, so not sure what you are referring to. NL2 does require a good processor in addition to a good graphics card. What's your processor like? Which park are you running and what frame rate do you get?

    Will there be a way to modify the Wood Magic script in the future? With the RMC style becoming evidently more popular, the demand for realistic (seeming) supports will be even higher. And if this isn't possible implement in the next update, will there be a way to program this ourselves?

    Will the summer big update come next month? "There is a larger update planned for summer which will contain new flat rides, a new and way more advanced Xbox controller support (especially usefull for VR) and many more".

    My scenic railway coaster takes at least 20 minutes to save the park. It has so many custom splines on invisible tracks with custom supports connecting hundreds and hundreds of simple track connectors. Can someone just make a custom track like the codemaster's rmc track that is a scenic railway? So that i do not have to spend hours and hours just to add the individual parts of my scenic railway track?

    I'd still love to see a "bottom accented" paint style for B&M track sometime in the future. It is nice to see the no scoop dive coaster variation.

    All you custom scripting folks, pay attention and try out the exit functions. You can specify where riders end up when they exit the ride. Check out the included flat rides and the coasters. Notice where you end up when you exit ride view mode.

    Now have fun adding this to your rides! Not a lot of code needed.

    We will. This is a Beta release on Steam so it's not yet part of the official Steam version. It's optional and let's us see how the new features and fixes will work across a wider platform.

    Also that exit code thing literally saved Mystic Caverns.

    Might I suggest to stop doing what you're doing? It'd be best for you and your poor computer. Either that or learn a 3D modeling program.

    I do not make 3ds objects. Since NL1 I have always used free nodes and supports to make things I need. With NL2 I sometimes use the 3ds sketchup warehouse.

    Devs, this is awesome! the Twisted coaster seats and harnesses look SOOOOOOOOO much better! I noticed they have updated textures. does this meant that we can expect @Phyter to release a few more of those awesome cartexture templates? Pretty please!?

    We were aware of that. It's not broken as much as fixing the scale of the train made the train get taller, which pushed the platform further down. We're sorry, not much we could do on that one as we fixed the scale. Of the various scale fixes, that's the one that will break custom stations the worst.
