Hello everyone. Skye here, to welcome you to my Coaster Construction Topic! This is where all of my coasters (mostly Bolliger & Mabillard Coasters) will be posted! My first one though, will be the longest one I will be working on! The name, is not to be announced yet, but will be soon!

Currently the ride is in it’s final layout plans. The Elements, (Listed in order) are..

    Camelback hill
    Dive Loop
    Normal Loop
    Zero-Gravity Roll
    Demonic Knot
    Pretzel loop
    Normal Loop
Corkscrew interacting with the lift hill
    Mid Course Brake Run
    A 90 degree drop over a Waterfall
    Splashdown Element
    Camelback Hill
    Wing Over/Dive Loop
    Bent Cuban Eight
270 degree turn around into the Final Brake Run

There are 9 Inversions and 12 elements.

Of course, I've barely started to work on it in Nolimits 2. So teaser photos will be later, for now. just the information about the ride!

Try not to make topics without any pictures because we can't really comment on anything if there aren't any.

I agree with what MilBee says but from the information listed however, it seems like an awful lot to cram into one layout.

Allow me to smooth out what I currently have, and I'll then post an image of what I have!

Not a lot to see, but doesn't look bad. Doesn't the turn before brakes need more banking? It seems you are going to put a lot of stuff in the layout. Will be nice to see it complete. I'm curious, what's the reason for working backwards?

^ My reason to work backwards, is because I could not figure out how high I needed the lift for all of this to work, so I'm going to work backwards, every time I add an element, I edit the ones after it to get it correct, then once it's all done, I can get the perfect lift hill height. That will explain why the banking isn't great, because i'm working backwards, thus the speed isn't correct yet.

You're going to end up with a huge ride if the ending elements are that big....

A quick update. I have a completely new layout (Layout #15)

Layout 15 is a complete redesign of the entire coaster. It is now a different type of B&M (Flyers) It will also feature some of the elements that were in Layouts 1-14.

The current order of Elements is

    Fly-To-Lie
Dive Loop (That starts in Lie, and ends in Fly)
Artificial Splash Down (Like that on Manta)
A fly-over the Queue Lines (Not really an element, but for knowing the layout purposes)
    Demonic Knot
    -MCBR-
    Dive Loop (Rotates into Lie)
Bent Cuban Eight (Starts lying, ends flying)
    -FBR-

    Update for the new layout.

I've reshaped the Bent Cuban Eight so it looks correct compared to the real one.

Is that a flyer or you haven't set the roll yet? Because this would be actually awesome on a flyer. ;p

Oh yeah I didn't saw your prior-to-last post. That's really cool, but actually I think it would be way better the other way around (start flying, end lying).

If I did that though, I'd probably be yelled at because 'Flyers don't do outside loops'

No, I mean, riding the element in the other direction, with the train coming from the left to the right. It's true that flyer don't do outside loop, that would be very incomfortable.

Ahh, that would require me redoing the entire element, because NL2 doesn't have a direction switcher.

It might just be the fisheye, but it appears you have some awkward banking to the left. Maybe take a different pic without the fisheye right there?

It's not awkward, the track is inclined a bit.

    <a href="http://imgur.com/vyPptG7"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/vyPptG7.jpg" title="Hosted by imgur.com" /></a>

It's how they're designed. But this is a flyer, so it's a bit different.

There's a difference between inclination and incorrect banking. Is a different angle so much to ask for?
  1.
I agree with JAKool, looking at the picture you provided there seems to be some awkward banking.

    Progress update

I've been working on the Lift Hill, and Break Run area. This is what I have set up! (I have made a 16th layout, and this layout is a Indoor ride (Not a dark ride) But just indoors. It'll be tropic themed, with water, and artificial splashdowns still occurring!)

That turnaround between the brakes and station seems a bit tight for those trains, maybe up the radius a meter or two or three. Not a whole lot else to comment on here for now though.
