    Hi everyone,
here you can post your screenshot of NoLimits 1 & 2. A few rules beforehand (which can be discussed, of course):

    1. Mention the creator(s) of the coaster you have taken a screenshot of - either the alias(es) on the exchange or the forum or just the real name(s).

    2. If someone demands a screenshot to be taken down for whatever reason please do so.

    3. The screenshot can be edited, but don't put it out of context or deface the picture in any way.

    4. Try to avoid comment-only inputs (an exception would probably be rule #6), remember this is a screenshot thread.

    5. Keep the screenshots at a reasonable size, so mods have to do less work. :) Also, don't put resized (poster) screenshots (via HTML tags) in here because the page needs to load the original pictures regardless.

    6. [Your suggestion?]

Additional rules by the NLE staff
    1. Give the names of your rides.

    2. Give the name of the author (we encourage users to share pics of other peoples work).

    3. Give the name of the park (if applicable (and part of a larger project)).

    4. Try to always include a train (without the clearance envelope).

    5. Try to post pics of a finished project (if WIP, polish up a small section and take a pic of that).

Screenshot Saturday Madness! Well, what does this mean?Head on over to Twitter and Facebook and post your favorite NoLimits 2 screenshots. Use the hash tags #ScreenShotSaturday and #NoLimits2 in posting and tag us in the screen so we can find it. Help us reach lots of new people and show them how awesome NoLimits 2 is!

    Thanks!

    - Ride_Op
(Alternatively, you can post your screenshot(s) here and the NL team might post it/them for you on Twitter and Facebook. Credits will be given, of course.)

Some useful tips, © by ride_op:

    • Fill the frame! Have the coaster or object you are taking a screen shot of fill up the screen rather than taking up a small part in the middle of the screen.

    • Trains! Get some action by having a train or trains in the shot.

    • Lighting! Change the time of day to move the sun so it lights up what you want to take a screenshot of.

    • Horizon at 1/3 or 2/3: The horizon cuts the photo in half with a fairly strong line. Make the screen shot more interesting by placing the horizon 1/3 of the way up the screen or 2/3 of the way up. Cutting right through the middle is less interesting.

    • Walk! Take screenshots from walking perspective to see your coaster in unique angles!

Well, since I've made the first post anyway I'll start right away. :)

I reckon it's a bit unfair on how we can't post pictures of our own coaster. If it's down as an anti-self promotion , then let it be down to the quality of the image, on whether or not it stays :)

^ I agree, yeah. If we have a really nice picture of our own coaster, it should be fine to post. Otherwise it's probably self-promotion and should be punished.
    •
Having said that, I'd just be posting the heck out of my rides about now...

Seeing as Ashley's currently working on a new project, I suppose I'd take advantage of this thread and post updates on Auger. I've decided to show you the latest addition to the station area, the chimneys

To break the series of self-promotion (*):

      Cosmonaut by macchiato

(*) Could you at least try to post pictures of other rides than yours, too - e. g. a gem hidden somewhere on your HDD which nobody hasn't even heard of yet, your favourite ride by now, a coaster which is simply great in your opinion? I'm not saying your coasters/screenshots look bad (they don't at all!), but can we agree on posting another ride before posting one of yours (as Ibanez did)? :)

Hahaha,... "the shameless selfpromotion thread" would be a great title! xD

I want to add two more projects which i like personally. No edited pictures, just raw simulator shots. There are really great projects out there and available. Well, here are two of them:

At first: Fenrir made by Seth:
I like the handbuilt style and that all the scenery (even technical details) are made out of supports. And the landscaping .. in my opinion is awesome. The spirit shines through!
       photo Fenrir-by-Seth-04_zpsdcf83516.jpg
       photo Fenrir-by-Seth-02_zpse1e2d544.jpg
       photo Fenrir-by-Seth_zps5da0774b.jpg

The second one is from RLRrides and named Hawk. The scenery is some what realistic and the queue is the best i´ve seen so far. He used a good sense of the clipping for the 3D objects, so the lag shouldn´t be that mean.
