First of all congratulations and thanks for putting up the track exchange, hopefully it will be successful. I have just put one of my coasters on it and there were some things that caught my attention that could be improved. Most importantly some colors.

When uploading a track the background is a very dark gray. With the white or light gray text on it this is no problem, but the filenames of the screenshot and track file are black. I can hardly read this (first time I thought "why doesn't it display it", until I looked closer). I think this is a wrong choice of color. I don't really care whether you change the text color or the background, but it should be better readable.

Second is the colors of the display of ratings. Go to any random page, say this one, and check the ratings part. The words Technical, Adrenaline, Originality, Average are in perfectly readable bright white boldfaced font, no problem. However, what is really important is the actual ratings. Why are they displayed in dark gray? I'd say reverse the colors here, make the words a bit darker (not so dark as the numbers are now), and make the numbers bright white. This will make it instantly clear at first sight what the ratings are. Right now you really have to focus to see the digits, this takes long for multiple ratings. Reversing the colors would make it easier to distinguish the ratings.

Matt, its looking great so far. Major Kudos for cleaning out all those ratings.

One minor request: You can log in to Discussions and stayed logged in even if you close your browser. But on Exchange, if you close your browser, you have to log in to Exchange each time and it doesn't even remember your ID. Is that something your working on or is that an access bug on my end?

I would like the same feature. It wouldn't be that hard, just some tracking cookies.

    Hi Erik,

    Welcome to the website.

    Thank you.

This has been fixed. Thank you.

A good suggestion, I am in the process of cleaning this up.

Thank you for your suggestions. You should see them implemented soon.

That is something I have to enable on my end. I will enable this option.

    Thank you for the suggestions.

    Hope you enjoy the website.

Hi Matt, its getting better all the time. Just wondered if in your long range plans you will be implementing a mechanism to edit ratings you have given and/or linking the text field to a spell-checker.

Looking good Matt, however there's just a few small issues that I don't feel need to be discussed here :)

I plan to allow members to edit their rating comments, but not their scores. As for spell checking I might link to this website. Spellchecker.net It checks for grammatical errors as well as spelling mistakes.

Sure, if you use the contact form to contact me I will be happy to read through them.

I saw the colors were changed. Wonderful :D

By the way, why not make the ratings changeable? I'm guessing you want to avoid downrating, but maybe you should make them changeable as soon as the track creator re-uploads a new track file. Because if someone does that, some might want to reconsider their ratings for it.
