I'm not sure what you mean by aqua lights, but after I took those screenshots, I went back and added lights around the ride:

How did you make such amazing lights?

That image was slightly shopped to make the lights stand out a bit more, but I could easily replicate that in NL2 without photoshop. It's just a powerful blue light with a very slight volume effect at the bottom of every support column, because there are so many lights, the are spots where the lights crossover and the volume effect on all the lights add together to give that hazy look to the area.

To get a feeling for the new trains.. i recreated Flug der Dämonen, X flight, Raptor, Wild Eagle and tried a first own creation in one park. After that i just tried today to make something compact. Short: ...having fun! :D

    Wingrider Park, yay!!! ...

    ..the compact one.

I just finished up working on a ride that I've been thinking about since NL2 came out. It's on NLE and Steam. It's not on par with many of the amazing creations here but with each NL project I've done I've learned more and more, and they're getting better each time.

I made a video for it in 60fps, which really makes roller coaster videos so nice and smooth! I guess I'd like as much criticism as I can get, it would be greatly appreciated! Here's the video.

Today I made this concrete Chinese style tower for my small Ferris wheel to go on top.

Is that a wingrider? That twisty looks way too sharp for a wingrider.

Better than my Flug recreation right now. Seriously I have no clue how they managed such sick arm and foot choppers.

Tinkering with sketchup and a launched wingrider... Obviously everything needs texturing, but you get the gist of it...

Projektion, how did you make it so dark? Is it also photoshopped or an env? And, that is the most beautiful screenshot I've ever seen in my entire life.

    @Toilettalker26:
The darkness is kind 50/50 to do with photoshop and the env. It is a really dark enviroment to begin with, but when I upped the contrast a bit to make the lights stand out in PS, it made it a bit darker.

^Oh. I kind of want to replicate that screenshot for one of my parks I'm building. Could you whisper me a tutorial or anything like that? (But exclude Photoshop)
  5.
Right now I'm making an amusement park called Kings Berry. The coaster in the screenshot here is called Swarm! (Thank you Projektion for the amazing lighting tutorial! You are awesome!)

    More to come!

^^^ Love it! Did you recorded the voice yourself?

    --

Finally! After Christmas and two consecutives new-year eves (one on the 30th and one yesterday), I finally managed to open NL2 and play with the awesome wing-riders. During those days, I pictured a layout and here I tried to made it. I kinda fail, the shaping is too snappy and I had to use terrain because my first drop was too short. Well, it was a discovering play session.

The first drop is kinda inspired by this RCT3 drop I made some weeks ago (yet it ends up looking like an angled common wing drop), then comes a cool 110° banked turn (needs to be more shallow, but the element is awesome), and then a Fury 325's inspired turnaround, but upsidown at the top.

^^ No, I found the voice clips on Youtube.

^All 3D, it's all scripted too, I posted a video a few posts up that shows it in motion.

^Now that looks cool and has a lot of potential for an interesting ride. I think personally that you add some flanges on the "top" of those A frame supports. While I do see where you're coming from on here, I just don't think that piece would fit onto a flatbed truck in real life. I could be wrong because I don't the measurements of it. I try to aim for how real it is when making supports. Other than that good luck. just curious what coaster type did you use for the track?
  12.
^The flanges right now are most likely going to change soon i just put them there just to make it look better :p And I'm using the steel looping coaster with looping box spine on
  13.
Ah cool. good deal and good luck. will this incorporate new custom trains as well?

Quote, captfido87 "Now if only we could make the ride out of supports in the game and have it work, that'd be awesome" That's exactly what I want to do with all my support built Ferris wheels without having to send them off to someone who can make them into 3ds and script them.
  14.
^^Most likely but I need someone to make them for me :3
  15.
I agree, that's why I said it. I think it'd be cool a feature if perhaps someone smart enough knew of a way to group certain pieces/supports like in these 3d programs, which would make have separate movable pieces. I suppose since this game is heavy with the scripting, one could potentially script each individual support piece/node to make something like this work. It'd probably take forever and I doubt anyone would ever want to do that, but it's an option.

Completeley reworked the drop and second inversion on my coaster "Apocalypse"

i didnt freeze the coaster for this screenshot as i havent quite finished the exit of the Immelmann, and it looks a bit wierd when frozen
