hi, i am working on a new b&m wing rider themed to a modern sci-fi test facility. here are a few images of the layout so far. it starts of with a 50 degree turn out of the station followed by a incline up to the max height of 39m. after that the coaster drops 37m followed by a leviathan insp turn.

I think the drop pulls out to soon. Look @ Rapter & Wild Eagle.

ive continued the layout adding a half demonic knot as well as a inclined loop and a airtime hill. i dont know about the layout after the half demonic knot, i might change it. oh well, if you have any ideas please tell me.

  1.
Please resize your images, and turn your FOV all the way to the right please (if you don't have it). It's hard to judge the shaping. But, the layout does look promising!
  2.
I think your drop should be steeper

i have finished the basic layout but there may be some modifications to make the shaping of certain elements better or to smooth certain elements. the theme of this ride is going to be similar to the two oblivion coasters.

    the whole layout

    the first drop

    the first turn

the half demonic knot and inclined loop

the entrance and exit of the inclined loop (the train clearance doesnt hit the loop)

    the airtime hill

the airtime hill from another angle

    the wingover

    the wingover from another angle

    the turnaround

    the heartline roll

    the whole layout

any tips would be appreciated, thx

ive started work on the supports, mainly the first drop and turnaround, but i have also started work on the half demonic loop.i always like it when supports are added, it makes the ride seem so much larger and bolder

    the first drop with supports

    the first turnaround

    the unintentional near miss

the half demonic loop so far

    the whole layout again

again any tips would be appreciated

i have finished the supports and will be moving on to the theming, i will still be modifying parts of the track and supports throughout the theming process so any tips or criticism would be appreciated.
i know some of the supports seem close to the train clearance clears all the supports

    the layout with supports

    the inclined loop

    the half demonic knot

    the corkscrew

    the turnaround

    the heartline roll

    the full layout again

once again, any criticism would be appreciated

I would sort of the first drop.

and also I would try make it a little more compact, because it sort of look a bit all over the place so far.

The first drop doesn't look very good. B&M has a different shaping.
I don't really like the first inversion, it looks to random for B&M.
It's not a dive loop, not a corkscrew and not a zero g. I would choose one, this would make it more like a real B&M.
The rest of the layout looks good, maybe you can add some airtime.

I'm just going to reiterate what's been said a few times: the drop needs a major rework. Check out some reference images of Wild Eagle to see what we're saying.

many people have told me to change the drop so i tried to make it more realistic,

Try holding the radius at the top of the drop constant. That will allow you to improve shaping and make your drop steeper. Pretty sure the real ones are steeper than yours. The top will look a lot better though either way.

i have started working on basic station and queue 3ds in blender. this ride will be extensively themed to a modern sci-fi test facility, similar to the two oblivion coasters and air. here is the work so far

the corrected drop and basic 3ds

    the station and queue

another view of the station and queue

a view from the coaster itself

I have made the bridge that leads to the station and textured the bridge and station. I still have to do work inside the station though.

once again, any tips or criticism would be appreciated.

Just a short update today as i didn't manage to get much done. I did however, manage to make the exit staircases and a bridge inside the station connecting the left and right wings of the train, similar to the swarm.

    the left wing exit

    the right wing exit

    the bridge inside the station

an overview of the ride so far

as always, any criticism or comments would be much appreciated

i have managed to make the exterior of the tower today. i am not sure whether i like it or not, but if it gets enough positive attention i may keep it.

I think your materials should have textures instead of solid color

It's a shame the track doesn't go under the bridge. What have you having under it?
