    --- COASTER-LAB'S TRAINS ---

Hi all, Seeing as I'm making a lot of new trains lately, I figured I should just make one general topic for all my trains. Also I decided to make a few trains available for free use. The reason why it has taken me so long to do that in the past is that I have to re-texture everything when I export from Solidworks.

Please check out my new train. It's my own design :) Didn't go for a recreation this time! I also put some pics of recent trains I did in here.

I need a new pair of pants...
  2.
    Thats totally train porn XD

I think adding some more detailing and striations to the rubber on the custom trains would make a huge difference in their aesthetic. The seat itself is very plain. Also the seat bottom might extend a bit too far forwards it seems like children would not be able to sit correctly in it.

    Amazing!
I would pay for an update with your trains.
Maybe we can get an update that allows custom trains act like the original ones.

I don't know how practical/ergonomical/well-thought your design is, but all I can say is that it's beautiful!

One tiny grief I see though, is that your front bumper is useless as for now. Should be going further than the plastic cover.

Not if there is back on the trains a bumper too that sticks out!
I haven't seen the back so I just guess ;)

Where do we get the free use ones? :o

Also, you should totally do the classic race car Accelerator train (Stealth, Rita, Xcelerator, e.t.c)

Camiel's work is beautiful and extremely high poly. Lots of work is necessary to make trains that look nearly as smooth while being efficient on polys. Camiel, what's the poly count of one car of that 4D of yours?

OMG Those vekoma trains is so beautiful! It would be great if this was also for NL2 with recolorable possibilities!
  10.
Why is no one else curious as to how to get his free use ones .-.

I don't mean to hassle you, but I have SUCH an amazing layout in mind for those trains... Do you have an idea when they could be released? (If you do release them, that is). Another question is, will it be hard to modify textures? I mean, if you do release them it would be cool to be able to add logos and decals to the train, as well as recoloring the train's themselves.

Again, GREAT work on those trains, they are absolutely gorgeous. :)

This isn't made in blender ;)
Press Ctrl+A and select cube. Now you can make a cube!

But I can't teach how to make those trains because those are hard!
