    I'll start from the top.
I was doing the Stealth reboot for the Thorpe Park Reimagined project and I was pretty pleased with how the top hat tuned out. So, with that and the epic launch script from Projektion under my arm, I set about creating a fully-fledged recreation of Stealth.
So far, I have the entire circuit and some scenery. The supports I am using for the top hat will be changed to a 3D version to account for the colour changes. I have intentions of the entire area, including the mech bay, being enter-able and thus I am hoping to do a behind-the-scenes tour of Stealth in the future.
So, now that you are all bored, have some pictures.

All models are WIP. Bumpmapping and detailing to come!

Looks great to me so far! :)
  1.
How did you get Projecktion's launch script?
  2.
    ^
  3.
he has the script as it was part of the thorpe re imagined project, and projektion was helping out with a few things (ride sync, sounds for flatrides and the cable launch)

Well, its been just over a month and this project isn't dead (!) I've had other things to deal with so this hasn't really taken a priority but I spent most of this morning doing miscellaneous things around the site, re-profiled bits of the top hat and the entire airtime hill, put together the soundtrack (I don't know about releasing it as it is copyrighted) and I have started modeling the zero-car.
COASTERGUY246 has taken some images that I forgot to for textures of things like signs and Donidia has agreed to do a car texture for me. Here are some pictures!

This bit is a very heavy WIP, as part of the queue is not wide enough for anyone to walk down. I am also (hopefully) getting a terrain from TheCodeMaster so I can make the elevations realistic.
Since you read this far, have a present. Enjoy.

Looks accurate so far! - can't wait to start the textures (I can add to my collection!)

    Looks really cool :)
I know it isn't final, but that custom train front could possibly do with some shape tweaking - looks a bit big (could just be because it's white though, I guess we'll see).

    Guess what?
    The project isn't dead!!!!
I've spent most of this week working on the control booth. I have remodeled it from the ground up (except the ops panel) and have managed to bump-map the textures and, my god, does it look good!

EDIT: The red corrugated metal is going to be changed soon.

I've also started some launch details.

Now, it's empty promise time! I'm going to try to get a preview video done by the end of the week with a completed station area and then do bi-weekly updates. Look forward to none of that happening.
  5.
"By the end of the week" uh huh
  6.
Looks awesome! Can't wait to see the video.

    Aaaaaand I'm back!
Over the last few days I have done detailing around the control booth, primarily the stair case and the ladder. I have textured the outside of the photo booth and the baggage hold, all I need to do there is find a good font for the "reception" sign on it. Trackwork is mostly finished, it looks a bit strange but I think that's because of the lack of supports. I thought I had the start of terrain, which is being done in the style of the Alton Towers project (ie. in SketchUp) but apparently I don't, so that's my next job.

The attention to detail is amazing! The shaping off the top hat also looks very good. Keep up the good work! :)

2 updates in 1 week. Aren't you lucky...

In major news, I did the terrain. It needs smoothing and stuff but it extends down to Tidal Wave and the Burger King, as far as I intend to model (for now... ;)). I also did smaller details around the station, including the massive, non-functional speakers, the baggage hold and the exit stairs/photo booth. You may notice the lack of railings on stairs, the material I was using messed around and didn't really work so I'm going to have to redo them at a later date. I also did the final details for the entrance tire. I am happy with this, mostly, but I will have to get new textures when I return to Thorpe at some stage. The same applies to the winchhouse. This won't be soon, I am broke having bought a new PC. Great...

^I think you are referring to the cable that comes down from the top of the ride. I have no idea what its for, I would assume its either grounding for lightning storms or a safety feature for the man basket that gets sent up if the train stalls on the top hat.

    ^^xD nope.

Hello! Long time no see, how's it going?

Fine, since you ask! I have made a bit of progress, primarily in the Amity area. I have decided that the recreation will be as it was in 2009 for 3 reasons. 1) Street view was last updated then. 2) I don't have to build angry birds land and 3) I don't have to build Storm Surge.

Since I am still waiting for the ride to be fixed (typical of Stealth, really) I have started to make some headway in the restaurant area in the main Amity Cove section. A few (pft) infuriating hours in SketchUp, later, I have something vaguely resembling the KFC and the counter service outlet in the building up. I also finally did the support sleeves and the final trackwork for Stealth itself, shown below.

Holy crap, that last picture looks insanely realistic.

How do you get the top hat element prefab to not invert at the top(i know you didnt use it but i was jist curious)

It isn't a prefab element, it was built by hand. Stopping it from inverting is just a case of using roll nodes set to 0.
  9.
^Thanks!I did notice it wasnt a prefab btw. also will the train be up for seperate download as well as the track(if they are up for download).

^The train won't be, no. It has no use beyond Stealth and its pretty poorly optimised anyway.

As nice as it looks, I'm gonna have to be that guy. Your shaping looks a bit off, especially the rolls. Also the top hat looks a bit pointy. It's hard to really pinpoint, but it just looks really off and kind of ruins the realism you have going on. Either way, it looks really nice so far, love the last picture.
  10.
^ Looks almost spot on to me. Only thing I'd say is the supports on his are a bit low.

Looks like the tops of the rolls need to start/end a bit further up judging by the side view and that comparison.

    Oh yeah, maybe.

I've nudged the roll nodes up slightly. I would love to show a POV but the launch script is still shot. (Subtle hint, Projektion ;) )

^^Why not just show a POV without the train rolling a few inches forward on the launch?

^I wasn't going to because the script is totally broken but Projektion just reminded me that I can run it without the script. I will try to upload one tomorrow.

    (Nice double post, I know...)

Here is a POV. There are 2 POVs in it, one with just my NL2 version and one with an actual POV overlayed. They don't sync up towards the end so well because of speed differences, this is something I will work on.
