To start off i'll introduce myself properly. I'm The_Creamster both here and on the exchange i've built a total 8 coasters of which 2 have been put on the exchange (my first and 7th). The second coaster i put on the exchange i called "Flight of the Eagle"

    Flight of the Eagle Exchange

and was the start of my experimentation with custom supporting and scenery elements and it personally is my best yet. Another 2-4 are going to go through this beautification treatment and i need an honest opinion on whether i got the balance right or not.

The point of starting this discussion was to get answers to some of my many questions without them getting buried among 3+ pages of another discussion of which always tends to happens on forum posts. I'm starting a park of recreations and have completed the trackwork for 2 of the 8 known coasters so far, 1 of which is still going through the custom supporting phase.
    My questions are as follows:
    1. If i'm to properly recreate each one it will require custom stations, queues, paths etc... How much & what will require 3DS to achieve the look of the originals; and which 3DS program is the "best one to use" for a starter but will allow for decent models without breaking the bank.
    2. Some of these recreations may require scripting of which i haven't done any of; how simple is scripting to learn for something like "when a train activitates a trigger, start a countdown to launch it at the same time turn lights on in a particular sequence possibly with a voice-over.
    3. I've seen this before but wouldn't have a clue on how to do it or what was used. How are "caves" achieved or is that 3DS. Also elements like trenches, custom tunnels... especially as the parks terrain wasn't raised when i started and lowering the terrain only creates lakes.

If you know what these recreations are (don't reveal them), could u give me a simple rating on how well they have been recreated
    Recreation 1:

Recreation 2 (supports are still WIP):

    Thanks, The_Creamster.

Yeah, it's a little tricky - be sure to add the 'width=1000' too to resize the pics to forum standards.

EDIT - these aren't photos - you want the 'direct link' when choosing. It should contain a .jpg or .png.

Just a bit of advice you should probably switch the second coaster to the corkscrew coaster track. It'll be more realistic.
  3.
@CoasterGuy2000, The original track style was the Modern Looping Coaster, but it does look better with the Corkcscrew Coaster type; thanks for that.

@captfido87, that's one of the 2 so far :). How u know what it was? I'm Australian btw and personally been there like 7 times; so the rest of the recreations should be pretty obvious choices.

That layout looked like it was a togo coaster, but than i realized this is the only arrow coaster with a funky layout. Found it in a matter of seconds. The internet does wonders my friend.
