I thought I'd kick this thread off with a coaster I have been working on for Halloween. Or rather it's teaser trailers. I'm slowly revealing the ride and backstory through images, videos and news articles. The ride will be revealed on Halloween.

    The Story So Far

There are also two videos, you can view them here and here.

Finally, a news article revealing some of the story...

I hope you enjoy this large update. However, as I am not always active on this forum, here's a link to a page where I will be updating and it will be staggered releases and teased properly instead of in one big load. I can confirm I will have one more teaser coming out before my holiday down South for Thorpe Park and Chessington: World of Adventures Halloween events.
It's here. My Halloween ride is now available on the NoLimits exchange. Click here if you want to download it.

Do you dare ride The Spine Breaker?
"We've always encouraged innovation here. That's the only way we can move forward. Something unique, something breathtaking, that's what everyone wants. That's what you're going to get. We're bringing out a new concept, and it's going to be our most innovative investment ever."

Just a little something I'm working on for the festive season. I'm putting it under the Christmas Tree so it's ready to release closer to the time :P
This is Skydive, my conceptual B&M flying dive coaster featuring 4 inversions, high speeds and a unique dive coaster drop.

For a POV of the coaster, click here.

To download the ride off the NoLimits 2 Exchange, click here.

it looks cool so far, though I would change that brake or whatever in picture 1. While I know that a brake like that for B&M flyers hasn't existed yet, I don't see it as very practical. Should the ride get stuck there, and being a flyer its more than likely will, It's going to take a lot of effort to get passengers out of the restraints. I used to work on superman: Ultimate Flight @ sfgam. I've seen the manuals for emergency evacs for the lift and for a valley, such as the pretzel loop. They are decently sized. There's a lot to do to properly remove someone. As with being a flyer, they have a set of pins inside that hold the harness down. Should those fail, than emergency pins at the front will keep the harness still in their seat. upside-down removal requires pushing the pins in and out at every hole to remove them. This takes time. So as you can tell it wouldn't be very practical to do this method.

Not saying that you have to change it, just offering advice. As for the coaster itself, looks pretty interesting so far. The supports, I wouldn't have them as straight black. Maybe raise the color up a little on the bar to be lessen the total black color.
^^I tried to put it not too dark black (I know that's unrealistic) and I know the whole concept isn't perfect, but it was a fun experiment of what a B&M dive coaster int he flying position could be like. I might come back to this project in future, but for now I'm focusing on several other projects :)

Pls. Don't post 2 the same pics in different threats.

That doesn't mean it doesn't look good :D
I am working on my Roundup 100 project, and #ProjectLiftOff debuts tommorrow (at least in GMT).
SkyFighter has lifted off for the first time!

I made a short video that compiled footage of offride and onride. Wtach it here.

Also, you can download SkyFighter from the NoLimits Exchange now! Click here to go the download page.

    Sleigh Adventure

This is a small Christmas coaster I made, it's a launched family coaster.

Click here to watch a video of onride and offride footage.

    Download here.

They told us it was coming.

    It's finally stirred.

    The volcano has risen again.

    Eruption - coming 2016.

I'll leave you this. Investigate them yourselves.

Psychodyne have put out some rubbish "statement" that doesn't tell us anything. "

It won't be long until the media get this story. Hopefully this will raise suspicions so I can get some more evidence before I expose them. I would say more, but they might have someone on these forums, I don't know.

To cut a long story short, Joel Ward, a known Psychodyne testee disappeared two days ago. God knows what they've done with him...

    • CommentTimeJan 10th 2016
I'm afraid I don't know intim305. I'm waiting to see what John_Kenna has to say and what Psychodyne Corp. do and say next...

There's another statement for Psychodyne. Again, nothing useful! Still, something must have gone down for them to make even a statement like this. I sent them an email from a hidden IP with various proxies and it seems that might have made them worried, but not that worried else I'd probably be dead. If you want to see it, it's on the updates page. I'll try and find somewhere where the article won't get shut down immediately, but they have eyes and ears everywhere.

Finally the CEO gave a statement, it's on their blog. As it tells us nothing, I may as well tell you my theory. I've heard of "disappearing" people? Something the Russians used to do in the Cold War, still goes on in some places today. People are killed in secret, there's never any trace. That's what Psychodyne has done with Joel, or at least I'm 99 percent sure it is.

I've bumped up my security for this. It won't be long until they find me out, within a month I'd guess. I just need more damn evidence...

Ted Swit is dead. He was a co-founder of Psychodyne and he seemed sane, even if I didn't always agree with his decisions. The other founder, Dr Rennips is still alive. There must be a reason for this. A serious purging is taking place, testees, staff, the whole lot. I've been going through the entire internet, even the dark web, searching for data. What I really need is there own files. If anyone at Psychodyne could offer me these, I'd be forever in your debt.

I need more time. But time is running out. They're starting more trials soon, they've said so. We could al be in danger here.

The trials have started. The email to reply to if you participate is so give it a go if you want. I don't mind if your scared. I've checked, the address is 100 percent genuine.

    Good luck.

^ That marketing is really really cool :D
Inb4, this is a VR walkthrough called Nemesisriders Ghost Train.
Uhm I got an email from a guy called: Dr Rennips.... I think he is evil :o

Can't wait what I need to do next :) That is some crazy marketing.

^ Thanks Muffin. I take pride in using my marketing like a real park does (cough Thorpe Park cough) and creating an intriguing backstory.
^^ Lol, I could see why you think that Element 115. Can I confirm it or deny it? No...

Hello again. I bet you're all glad to hear I'm not dead yet! I live in fear of the door being knocked down one day then me being brutally killed, but anyway. I got hold of a manuscript of Ted's last conversation with the CEO before his death. Make of it what you want, I've cut it down so you don't die of boredom.

    (1:45:31 onwards)
Ted - "Listen Oleg, I'm not sure if this is the right thing to do. There has to be a better way. There'll be lots of messing and other horrific stuff if we go ahead with this."
Oleg (presumed to be Dr Rennips) - "Just listen to me Ted. We'll live on in history as some of the best scientists of all time!"
Ted - "I just think this is too far Oleg. Unless you compromise I will make this public, it's dangerous."
Oleg - "Very well. This meeting is over. I will discuss this with you tommorrow, and we'll see if you've changed your view overnight..."

Other news. I believe the first test will be sent tommorrow, so if you've got involved expect it.

Is it just me or is this ''teasing/marketing''-thing is getting pretty long?
^ It's like a real Company would do it.

I like it, it is really refreshing and i would never ever do so much work only for marketing xD So thumbs up for that.

i hope that the ride will be as good as the marketing :)

^ If the entire project is based on Merlin's work, well... no. xD

I agree though, sharing one or two tiny details about the ride itself would be welcomed. I haven't replied to the email address, though, so maybe I'm missing something!
^^^ It's quite long to simulate what a real marketing campaign would be like. To use Derren Brown's Ghost Train or The Smiler as an example, there marketing campaigns ran for several months with little to no solid info reveal. I've shortened that length for my own sanity and partly before anyone else does something like it :P

^If will confirm you will get some details if you reply. If you look hard enough once the tests are sent, you can discover the manufacturer and colour scheme of the ride. I've only had 3 replies since I last checked, so more minds are needed in the trials ;)
So it's gonna be another few weeks before we actually get to see something? Don't get me wrong, I like the idea but to me it feels like you're taking it a bit too serious :P
This is just the way I've chosen to do it Tim. You may not particularly like it, but I think a marketing campaign is a good thing to do and builds up the backstory :)
    ^ Amen ;)

It's a good thing if you show something: Logos, teasers... If not it's a bit boring.
    • CommentTimeJan 27th 2016 edited

I've just checked the Psychodyne servers, I think the tests are about to be sent. Expect them.

    • CommentTimeJan 27th 2016
Yeah so far I'm not impressed. Maybe the ride will differ, but right now it all seems bland.
Part of the reason I'm doing this is so I can get a gage of what goes down well and what doesn't. I'm not going to stop doing marketing campaigns (though majority of my releases won't have them) but each one will vary, it's a chance for me to experiment and try out different things. My next ride to have a large teaser campaign later this year will have a completely different campaign that uses different resources. I'm not trying to say don't criticise me, if you've got constructive criticism it helps me improve, but this does take a fair bit of work (setting up a web domain, creating images, writing the story) whether you like it or not :)
I can confirm two users of this forum have completed the Mind tests and have received their prize in due course. Who will be next to join their number?

If this is taking a lot of work, as you say it does,
Posted By: NemesisRider(setting up a web domain, creating images, writing the story)

then show us. It's impossible to get excited over text that ultimately means nothing to us. Even when real parks tease a ride, they usually at least have themed images showing us the direction of the ride's theming before we see the ride itself. But you're not a park. Weekly text posts don't get me excited or even curious for your ride.

Show us the work you're putting in. Show us the effort that's going into this project. That's what'll get me excited.

I felt like the readers of this thread deserved a break from the darkness and mystery of The Psychodyne Trials (and in some cases general boredom with them :P), so I hereby present...

The Southend Shark is a ride initially designed for the Southend Screamer competition to design a coaster to fit in Adventure Island. It is a launched Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster with 5 inversions.

As usual there's a video, click here to see it.

I feel like I ought to inform you that the project relating to The Psychodyne Trials will be much better, this was just a small project to fill some space.
The trials are now over. If you have submitted a correct answer you will receive your prize. Thank you to everyone who participated.

1 week remaining. The stakes are higher than ever before. The endgame is here... Psychodyne know...

I've been occupied recently. I've found something and I believe it could be the game changer. I know what the results were for. But until I recover this file, I can't prove it. They're talking about A.I.R treatment, no idea what it means though.

Meanwhile, here's something from the trials I can take public:

I've solved it. A.I.R Treatment means Adrenaline Injection and Rotation treatment. I don't know what this means. By Wednesday I should have recovered the file they created, I am sure that they made a 3D simulation...

5 days left. They're coming for me.

Much better marketing! It really catch a lot more attention this way. The coaster looks very interesting, can't wair to see it!
^It was always planned this way dapalm! I like to start off slow and then as we get to the final week before releases it steps up a notch. :)

I recovered the file. It's an advert, I thought it was raw footage. Anyway, seems like this A.I.R Treatment will involve spinning upside down 5 times (I'm not sure, it could be 6) from this footage.

The advert is being hosted here. Please watch it, you need to know how dangerous this could be.

    ^ interesting :)

NemesisRider here again. I have reason to believe that John_Kenna has been kidnapped or murdered by the Psychodyne Corporation. He knew too much... Luckily I recovered his final post. It was unfinished though...

I know Psychodyne are coming for me. I'll keep this brief, but in short there's another layer to this madness, something none of us could have seen. But on reflection the clues were there. Names. Everything. A.I.R treatment involves sp

    Tommorrow all is revealed.
