    Hay Guys,

    At the moment I 'm working on the coaster "Bluefire" from the EuropaPark at Rust, Germany.

    I finished the track and now I'm working at the Station and the Scenery.

    You supporting could use some serious work, and the trackwork looks rather off in a lot of places. However, the scenery looks pretty nice. Just giving you my 2 cents

    looks good. but i think those textures and models could use more love.

    if you finish the model i suggest baking textures.

    -explenation-

    at a sertain point of amount of scenery the NL2 engine stops adding in the shading to save on performance.

    by baking textures you can bring these shadows back.



    hope you take this into concideration ;)

    Looks pretty cool so far! The rocks might be a bit too low in regard to clearance, though. Hope you can recreate those amazing lights in the tunnels, too.

    The rocks in the tunnel are low but they in clearance.

    I'm really loving the theming so far! Scenery is something I die over and I'm pretty impressed with how you pulled off the dark ride portion. Great work!

    This is looking great! As well as what I said about the trackwork on my comment on the video, I think accurate car-textures would add another layer of realism.

    *Wipe dust away

    After now almost a year, I make myself again at Bluefire because I was not quite satisfied with the coaster. At the moment, I'm working on the track and the theming as there were some, who were not quite satisfied with it.

    Here are some pictures. IMPORTANT! The supports are not finished yet!

    I also made a two part Station-Building. One for the dark ride and one for the exterior. I dimmed the darkride part with the Nolimits 2 function: Dim object as if it was in a tunnel (I think, it looks awesome at day-time :D).

    A problem that has occurred are the too large gates. In real, these are much smaller. Does anyone have an idea how to make them smaller? Otherwise, I have to model and animate them myself.

    Luckily for you, NL2 just added a feature with scripting allowing things to be binded to gates, so you should be able to make custom sized gates (but don't ask me how to do it lol)!
    Also, please fix the tie spacings across the layout, they would increase its realism by quite a lot. Looking nice!

    There's only one major issue I'm finding, but can we see a top down of the flat turns on the dark ride segment? All the screenshots so far seem to indicate that they aren't constant radius.

    No but seriously, it's really hard to judge anything with such a fish-eye distorsion. Can you slide the Field of View to the right on the F7 panel in the simulator? The pictures will be better to look at. ;)
