Thought this would be a fun thread to show off everyone's old projects that were either never finished or didn't turn out the way they wanted it to. If this is already a thread please let me know, ill start this out with my very old B&M hyper Maelstrom. At the time I thought it was awesome but now that I revisit it, it has some crazy g-forces and it rides horribly!

I like this idea! Here are a couple rides of mine that have been shipped to the graveyard for varying reasons:

Speedforce 325 - Wasn't super happy with the layout or some of the shaping, may revisit/revise in the future.

Storm - Part of a huge project which i never had the time or resources to come anywhere near completing (5 Other coasters not pictured here). May become something I invest time into in the future but it is doubtful.

Unnamed - Fun concept, however I felt it was too simple and wasn't as fleshed out as it could have been. Would have taken a lot of effort with 3DS to make it a unique ride that stands out on the exchange. Will most likely make it a secondary coaster released in the same park as a future project.

Told ya so! Not that ambitious projects never get completed, but I do recall saying "good luck" to your project. Wish it was completed!

But NL2 has only been out for a few years. There is no such thing as an old NL2 coaster! ;)

*remembers when v 1.5 was released back in 2004 and we were all amazed by the new coaster styles and features*

I feel so old now, lol....

I have one that is a wood rmc that i made when i first started, i paid no attention to radius or g force wanna see it?

Is this like, first legitimate projects made in Nolimits 2, or our actual first attempts at creating something and brutally failing at it

It certainly wasn't the first I released, but was the first I started working on when NL2 came out.

Here are a few since abandoned projects

    https://gyazo.com/db6b7c24aef8a4f03b708a1dd52f2ba5

Speed Demon, an infinity coaster made just before the infinity update hit. abandoned because the different heart-line on the infinity broke a lot of supports and clearance, as well as pacing

    https://gyazo.com/f9c36ca8c3a43a0d7fcb1d27d8dc889c

Unnamed Eurofighter designed to be more old gen like speed, Abandoned because of supporting headaches in one area and i wasn't happy with shaping

    https://gyazo.com/f2aa43598446ce4b766e2ec822485af5

End Of The Line, gerstlauer family, abandoned because of mass 3d work and the fact it was too drawn out

    https://gyazo.com/1a12eda291642f6fc4f8c7dfa248b0d4

More recent than the rest, but this was an attempt to make a crazy ride in a compact space for a seaside park scenario. Abandoned because i couldnt make an ending work too well (current one is way too slow). Might pick this up again at some point, but i would need to revise the helix into the brakes and the ending of course

Whilst it wasn't my first NL2 coaster, Hiryu was a project I started with high expectations but has been shelved and left to collect dust mainly due to a lack of motivation for supporting.

Since we are going back and laughing at old attempts, here I present to you my first created ride ever. This is Sky Bandit. I Originally created it and semi finished it in No Limits 1.6. Though when my computer crashed I lost the file and NL1. When I finally got NL2 this was my first real ride attempt. I got this far and gave up as the layout was massive, very rough, and just crap. It featured a Loop, a giant overbank,a butterfly; which turned out fairly decent, and a wrap around corkscrew.
     photo screenshot-2014-01-17-20-41-10_zpsam2le5r3.png
Here is what the ride looked like. As you can see it was very spaced out.
     photo screenshot-2014-01-17-20-43-11_zpsuvogqrad.png
here's the best angle of the butterfly inversion. As you can see it wasn't overly bad. I did work the hardest on this part.
     photo screenshot-2014-01-18-10-35-05_zpsljteqju4.png
I attempted to learn how to make custom supports like Brent. They actually looked realistic, until you look at my lift hill. I want to say my lift hill featured an angle of 11 or 13 degrees. Whoops. That was major killer number one right there
     photo screenshot-2014-01-18-10-35-27_zps8biepwly.png
    Very vekoma like looking supports

@TheDarkStar, that wasn't what I was on about lol. I was doing the 3d for Hiyru until I was too slow and got kicked off. You probably wont suffer the same fate...

The First half of AurorA, which is still in the very SLOW making of because of my time limitations of work and gay alcohol based actives.

This Wing-Rider which was made before the official NL2 trains were released, due to high forces the coaster would be unrealistic.

And of course the Hyper which I designed, for the Thorpe Park re-imagination project (RIP.)

This was my first project after getting NL2. I had the ride in NL 1 and had just finished it when I was given NL2 as a present. So I imported it and made it much better.

I can't quite remember if this was my first NL2 coaster or not, but it's definitely among the first. It's a really weird RMC GCI launched hybrid with a lift, used to be a corkscrew coaster, thing.

Heres my first ever coaster in No Limits 2. I know it is complete garbage, its from before I knew about clearence, and heartlines, and supports, and G forces.

    PLEASE DONT JUDGE ME
Ride starts 50 seconds in, the first 50 is the blocks stacking so that the music syncs.
