A sphere is really easy to make with supports using the copy-paste and rotate tool. I once made one myself.

EDIT: ^ Hmmm yeah. o_o You're so amazing, dude!
2.
^Thanks :D

I was thinking about making a support scenery...scenery pack that people can download, I can create a park and for each scenery piece, I'll make it a new coaster...then when its download and extracted, you can add the scenery by going to import coaster, selecting the park, and picking the coaster ( which will have the scenery name) and simply adding it into your park

Thoughts?

Can you make a small building much like this out of supports?

Picture

I have wanted to make a small indoor Brazilian FEC place in NL2 since the game released.

It's been a while since Togo was asking for people to build him random stuff. Good to have you back.

SO happy to finally finish this project and bring it to you guys. This is a piece of what could potentially be a 99% support scenery park. Batman...The Next Generation is a custom ride that I would say is fairly compact for what it gives...It has a scripted free-fall mid air transfer, 60 MPH reverse launch, synchronized on-ride audio, fully custom built station & gift shop, and ambient Batman music throughout the park.***** Note: If onride audio falls out of sync, just reload the park, pausing or changing game speed will alter audio... HIGHLY SUGGEST MANUALLY WALKING THROUGH THE ENTRANCE OF THE RIDE TO GET THE FULL EXPERIENCE :)****

This was unbelievable! You're so creative! (using coaster storage shed to make a queue line? OMG!)

I just wish the black wall around Gotham was made like a cutout skyline... :3
8.
^thanks, that would have been cool haha :D
9.
Hey Boss, how did you get the Dark Knight music and audio onto an .ogg file? Im making a sort of spin off coaster themed to the Joker.
10.
Audacity works well, its a free sound editing program that can export as .ogg

I use a real simple and free sound converter called flic flac

Just drag and drop and it converts to .ogg and many others :)

Ive never tried audacity but ill check it out to

^ I just downloaded the park, so I'll update this post once I review it. But besides that I was going to ask If you could do a tutorial on maybe something simple like an indoor coaster building. With trusses and stuff like the inside of RNRC.

Edit: I finally remembered to open the park, I posted a review on coastercrazy :)
13.
sure thing! that reminds me... I forgot I was working on an indoor theme park lol

This is impressive and all kinds of crazy, but I've got to imagine learning how to do simple 3-D models with Sketchup or something has got to be easier than this.

I do a combination of supports and models, and yes, it to a point where supports aren't worth the effort anymore lol
14.
Once you've got it down it really doesn't take that long (Not at ALL talking about my Batman ride forget that) Just need to develop a technique

To be honest, what's cool with supports is that you don't bother with texturing, bump mapping and all that stuff, and also all the work stay solely inside NL2, instead of using a thrid-party program and create a ton of folders for the different stuffs, and then create a NLSCO then a NLMAT then link everything together, then, then, then...

^ I understand what you mean and it's indeed very cool work that is shown in this thread.

On the other side
Posted By: KingRCT3texturing, bump mapping and all that stuff
are the ingredients that make 3d objects looking good / realistic.

Last but not least heavily using some of the support objects (like the fence) will probably have a worse performance impact than a proper 3d object.

But I want to point out again that I generally like this stuff - it's very creative! I especially like the workflow that is shown in the videos to create them.

^Thanks :)

I like using a combination of modeling and supports.

I like these fences with supports though. One question on the footer wall. Is there a way to get rid of the metal pieces on top?

^There isn't a way to get rid of them, however you can get rid of the little ridges they make by putting them closer together, making them flush :)

Version 1.0 of the Support Scenery Pack. This pack includes 35 custom made scenery objects for you guys to use at your disposal. To get started, extract the NL2pkg file, open up any park your working on. Then simply go to the coasters tab in the editor, select import coaster, scroll to the park you just extracted, and finally select any scenery item you would like to add (They're all individually named) Enjoy! :D

I would love to see this made in NL2 by NoLimitsPro if he can do it.
