This might be a little delayed on actually starting a thread up for this project, but better late then never I guess. As many of you have seen, I have been working on a recreation of a Premier Rides Sky Rocket II Model, with a little bit of help along the way from Code. At the current rate, it should be complete and released by around the end of January depending on what needs to be changed based on what you see and what could use improvement based on what you think. As of now, I am currently reworking the support structures to be as real to life as possible, which is a very tedious process because within that, I have also made custom track connectors to hopefully help improve the realism of the coaster. Thanks to Code, I do have the track as an SCO object so the double spine is seamless and the cross tie style varies as according to the real rides. I am trying to keep a modern theme so if you have any recommendations on what you think would look nice throughout the small area, just let me know. So without further ado, I present Octane.

One detail I notice has a problem is the LSMs on the launch, which appear to come closer and closer together from the radius change, and then cross each other at the end. And they go into the crossties. Not sure if that's really worth your time to sort out or not, but it's just an observation. I also remember you saying that the gates currently don't work, so that's a huge priority too!

Super excited for this, and I really wish this could be a public use file :P

0/10 flange colliding with support in 4th picture... seriously though im a sucker for realism, and this looks really damn impresive.

This is really well done down to the control panel! Great job.

I love how Premier Rides constantly like and repost your pictures. Can you have a better supporter than the manufacturer itself? :D

This looks awesome so far, the details seem spot on and the realism is great.

This is great--Sky Rocket II trains among others should become official coaster styles seeing the popularity for them.

Thank you guys for all the kind comments! I am very excited to see what everyone thinks upon full release and I hope you aren't disappointed.

@Zergei: I jest fixed the LSM problem, thanks for noticing that though, had no clue it was there before you mentioned anything. In regards to the station gates, I will try to script something to get them working, but it is not a huge priority as of now just because I don't feel like it is a huge problem just to walk around and enter the train, but we will see if I can do something to get them working. I totally would release this as a public file, but many of the track details and such are all placed individually so unless you really wanted to repeat the painstaking process of doing it, it would be very inconvenient to most people.

@element115: I did a few tweaks to the support structure, so no more collision as of now. Might have to pass your inspection before release.

@KingRCT3: Definitely trying to fit in as many details as I can without completely ruining the FPS. It's awesome that companies reach out like that, it’s a huge motivation factor to finish this thing up!

Oh by the way, it's about the trackwork so it might be too late anyway, but do you have the slight kink you got on the real ride on the way back to the station? I suspect a "geometry forcing" from Premier Rides in order to align the track!

This project is looking amazing! I've actually been working on a sky rocket II also, but yours is way farther along than mine is as of right now. Cant wait for the release!

Near perfection! Looks beautifully crafted minus the few tweaks mentioned already. I was a little bit against the traditional american theme but its grown on me alot of and is really fitting and plays well with the clean appearance. Well done!
