On the 11th of July in 2015, I realesed Lights Animator first of its name. The UI was rought and really not intuitive..
On june of 2016, I decided to update Lights Animator so it would be easier to use, mostly drag and drop.
Now introducing, Lights Animator V2 !
(aka, create a LightShow even if you're not Projektion)

The tool is curently in BETA.

Making a lightshow step by step

    I : Importing a scene object
The first thing you have to do is to import your scene object and then select the light(s) you want to animate.
A new timeline is created. Timelines must be named.
Lights must be set to white (255,255,255) in Nolimits !

    II : Adding an animation
Drag and drop the animation you want to use on the timeline.
To change its color, click the pencil.
To change its length, click on the side of the animation, then drag the border.
To change its start time, click on the the animation, then drag the whole thing.
The magnet on the side will enable(disable) the snaping tool.

    III : Snaping tool
Click the magnet to enable(disable) the snaping tool.

    IV : Animation Edit
Animation can have specific parameters. Like the fade length.
You can also edit here the start time and length more precisely.

    V : Timeline Control
You can zoom in/out to be more precise.
Clicking play (or space bar) will start a preview of the show.

    VI : Extending the show
Simply drag your animation on the right to extend the show.

VII : Save and script options
Set the trigger you want and the restriction.
AutoTrigger : Trigger when the simulation starts.
TrackTrigger : Use a trackTrigger to start/stop the show.
    ClickTrigger : Not available.

No restriction : Always start the show.
Basic : Trigger with a specific train. Must be used with [TrackTrigger]. (First train is 1)
Advanced : Uses a custom counter. The counter resets to 0, the maximum is excluded.

Keep Lights[..] : If checked, the lights will stay enabled after the end of the show. Otherwise they will turn black (off).
Loop show : When show ends, restart it imediatly. (/!\ the stop trigger will stop the show, even if this is checked)

The sofware automaticly attach the script to the sceneObject, but dont forget to reload it everytime !

    IIX : Removing / Renaming a timeline
If you remove a timeline, it will be deleted. You can check Do not delete if you want to keep the script. But it will not be loaded anymore with other scripts.
If you rename the timeline, the old script will be deleted.Do not delete can also be checked, same behavior.

    IX : Loading show
Load any of the scripts created and all the show will be loaded.

    Get it : download

As awlays, it has an auto-updater.

Very cool work! It is very easy and intuitive to use and does an amazing job. I think there's no easier way for now to create custom light shows in NL2.

I'm already making a complex lightshow with LA V.2.
Being a complete newbie in scripting, I'm getting the hang of it (and it makes things so much easier, thank you for that)
