Okay so I'm taking a break from Edwards Forest because at this point I'm kinda tired of working on it. I'm sure I'll finish it at some point, just not now. In the meantime, I've been spending my days working on this here recreation of my favourite ride at Knott's, Xcelerator.

About the only thing I have completely done in terms of scenery is Lee's Last Stop Service, a gift shop by the entrance.

However I have worked hard to recreate the little details, you know, the ones that I think matter the most.

    Such as the connectors!

Or this support, which crosses over the railroad track.

I've also taken an old experimental hydraulic launch track from TCM and have used it on the rec. It works wonders, I'm surprised as to why he hasn't released it yet.

So yeah, that's about it for now. I'd like some feedback on the trackwork because this is my first large recreation and I'm a little nervous that I did horrible on the track lol.

PS: Environment will definitely change, I just didn't want to present the coaster without one.

PPS: If you're wondering why it's called Xcelerator 2002, it's because I wanted to recreate a more classic version of the ride. Seems pretty self explanitory but I feel like I should mention it just in case.
This looks really promising and I love that launch sound as well!

Agreed! Never noticed those little details like the track connectors or that support. Great touches!

Thanks guys! I'll be resuming work on Monday after I go to Knott's this weekend for some more reference pics.

Also, once again, all credit goes to TheCodeMaster for the launch track. I don't want to take any credit for it, lol.

EDIT: Yeah Jai I tried doing that, I'll upload a video of it to google drive and share bc I've got like 5 people at this point requesting it.
remember to launch it at 117 mph so it pulls -4 g.
^ That is an empty train right? Otherwise ouch.
